The MC4-Y solar splitter pair comprises two types of connectors: one male-to-2-female (M-2F) splitter and one female-to-2-male (F-2M) splitter. These splitters are specifically designed for solar applications, allowing the branching or combining of multiple solar panel connections within a photovoltaic (PV) system.
The male-to-2-female (M-2F) splitter features a male MC4 connector on one end and two female MC4 connectors on the other end. This configuration allows you to connect a single male MC4 connector from a solar panel or another component to the splitter, which then branches out into two separate female connectors.
